Obama is no more socialist than most Republicans if they can be honest about it

“Obama is a socialist,” the Republicans scream. Problem is, we all are, to one degree or another. So was Jesus.

Talking to a “conservative” friend who is appalled that there are “socialists” in Congress. He asked me if that bothered me.  I thought for a minute, then though of all the socialist type things we have and that everyone likes, and said, “no, it doesn’t bother me.”

I told his that he liked some of them also,  He said name on.  I said Social Security. He said he expected more, so I found listings and added some of my own, which are below.

The biggest is social security.  Nothing but a scheme to redistribute the wealth.

How many of you died-in-the-wool conservatives will accept that payment?

Look over the list and see which ones are too socialist for your tastes.  And try not to leave only those benefitting yourself personally.

This country is a mixture of socialist and capitalistic and other ideals that are constantly tugging at each other.  That is why it works.
